CHICAGO CITY - PRE PROFESSIONAL

In 2022, Chicago City became the first USL Pre Professional club in the City of Chicago as we joined the USL W League (Women) and the USL League Two (Men).

The USL Pre Professional platform provides collegiate athletes the opportunity to train and play in a high performance environment throughout their off season as well as providing an introduction to adult soccer for our USL Academy players.

Both teams had a very successful season finishing in third place respectively in a very competitive Heartland division.

City also fielded a pre professional team in the Regional MWPL league who finished mid table and an amateur team in the local NSL league who finished runner up . Our U23 teams also competed in local leagues.
